About
Nestled on the banks of the Housatonic River in West Cornwall, Connecticut, the Trinity Retreat Center is a place set apart for rest, discovery, connection, and reflection. We gather to celebrate the restorative presence of God in nature and support each other in the ongoing work of love, service, and justice.
We offer all our guests gracious, authentic hospitality. Experience the rhythm of a spiritual community, enjoy farm-to-table meals, discern direction for your life, and go home ready to make an even greater impact on the world.
The Center sits next to more than 700 acres of conservation trust and state forest. The property includes 25 guest rooms, a historic stone chapel, a monastic garden, an orchard, a working farm, a donkey sanctuary, hiking trails, a community hall, meeting rooms, and quiet spaces that foster spirituality and wellness.
The Trinity Retreat Center is a mission of Trinity Church and is open to everyone, regardless of denomination or faith.

Our Donkey Sanctuary

Online Retreats and Services
Monday–Friday, 8pm ET
Live-streamed from our stone chapel and other sacred spaces at the retreat center, our Online Candlelight Compline services offer a brief interval of respite and peace in the midst of whatever your life may hold. Compline is a brief, luminous service that marks the close of each day and welcomes the quiet of nighttime in praising the source of light and life. We invite you to join us in discovering how the ancient practice of daily prayer in community can deepen our sense of the sacredness of time and attune us to the heartbeat of the world. Our services are led by the Rev. Mark Bozzuti-Jones and other staff at the retreat center. We generally follow the service “An Order for Compline” in the Book of Common Prayer of The Episcopal Church.
We spent two days here on a Vestry Retreat—it was the perfect location! Beautiful space for worship and meetings, and the meals were heavenly. I am looking to go for another weekend retreat by myself at some time. Highly recommend.
